Grateful

I was not planning on writing a blog post for Thanksgiving but as I am re-watching Dawson’s Creek and drinking a glass of wine the day before Thanksgiving, I felt the urge to write everything I am grateful for.

Even though this year has not been easy for most people and the life of so many have changed, I still feel grateful.

  • I am grateful to be alive and that the people I love the most are healthy.
  • I am grateful to have had a job during the most challenging times of this year.
  • I am grateful that this pandemic made me stay more at home and enjoy it. I had been dreaming since I was 20 about having my own apartment and decorate as I wanted and this year I had that.
  • I am grateful for having a balcony and being able to witness those amazing Miami sunsets.
  • I am grateful I get to spend time with my parents every week.
  • I am grateful that this year I am finally making big decisions on the future of my career.
  • I am grateful I finally launched this blog.
  • I am grateful that I have hands to write, eyes to see, and legs to walk.
  • I am grateful for a coffee in the mornings, well also afternoons!
  • I am grateful for a good book.

2020 you have not been easy but thank you for putting life on perspective and making me finally jump without really knowing how it will end.
